Frequently Asked Questions

Workshop delivery, executive training formats, and engagement terms

How are Mission Success Solutions corporate workshops delivered?
Corporate workshops are delivered as on-site, instructor-led sessions at the client's location, facilitated by founder Leander E. Outlaw. Workbooks and participant materials are included. Clients select one track per workshop: Executive Precision, Executive Decision Dominance, Communication & Resilience, or Leadership Structure & Command Foundations (LSCF). The published rate is $4,500 per workshop day, professional fees only, booked with a 50% non-refundable deposit and the balance plus travel due on completion.
What executive training formats are available?
Five formats. Executive Consultation: one-on-one advisory billed hourly at $275 with a one-hour minimum. Battle Rhythm Audit: a one-day on-site operational assessment at $2,500. Corporate Workshop: an on-site instructor-led workshop at $4,500 per workshop day, from a half day to three days depending on the track. Advisory Retainer: a monthly engagement at the Overwatch ($3,500/mo), Command ($6,500/mo), or Vanguard ($12,000/mo) tier, each with a non-cancelable three-month minimum term. Mission Ready Academy: self-paced online courses, subscriptions, and enterprise seat licenses.
Can executive training be delivered virtually?
Yes. Executive consultations and retainer advisory hours are delivered virtually. The Overwatch retainer tier is fully virtual; Command is hybrid and includes one scheduled on-site day per month; Vanguard includes two. Battle Rhythm Audits and corporate workshops are on-site engagements. All six Mission Ready Academy programs are available self-paced online.
What does a Battle Rhythm Audit produce?
A Battle Rhythm Audit is one day on-site evaluating organizational tempo and decision cycles: which meetings produce decisions, who holds decision authority, and where work stalls between them. The deliverable is a prioritized fix list with named owners, not a report binder. It is the lowest-risk starting point for a new client.
What is included in an advisory retainer?
Every tier includes a monthly After-Action Review and a Strategic Operational Audit, plus Mission Ready Academy All-Access for the duration of the retainer. Overwatch adds 12 virtual advisory hours per month. Command adds 30 hybrid hours, one on-site day per month, and Executive Leadership Optimization. Vanguard adds 50 strategic hours, two on-site days per month, and Priority Crisis Response.
Why do retainers require a three-month commitment?
Retainers carry a non-cancelable three-month minimum tour of duty because operational change requires at least one full quarter of battle rhythm to take hold and be measured. Early termination accelerates the balance of the initial term. Invoices are issued on the first of each month and are due upon receipt.
Are training and workshops available outside Texas?
Yes. Mission Success Solutions is headquartered in San Angelo, Texas and serves clients nationwide. For on-site engagements outside Tom Green County, travel is invoiced at cost: Economy Plus airfare (business class for flights over three hours), standard business lodging, and a $75 daily per diem.
Who delivers Mission Success Solutions training?
Engagements are delivered by Leander E. Outlaw, founder and Senior Operations Executive, a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with 22+ years of service, four combat deployments, and certification as a Drill Sergeant, Master Resilience Trainer, and Master Fitness Trainer, with Master Leader and Battle Staff qualification.
